You aren't in this alone.

You are not alone in this. We think that once God gives us an assignment, its all up to us to do everything. That's a lie. It's a lie, because 90% of the things God wants us to do, can't be accomplished on our own.
We need his help.

For example, we aren't meant to try and bring people to Christ on our own. It's impossible because no one can come to Jesus unless God the Father draws them. (John 6:44) We're meant to allow God to lead us to the people he wants us to reach, instead of searching for them by ourselves.

Similarly, we aren't meant to go out into this world alone, because it will be impossible to get anything done. We can do nothing without Jesus. (John 15:5)  We are supposed to go out in the world with Jesus at our side, leading us every step of the way. It's through Jesus that we are able to do all these great things for God, not on your own.

Despite this, sometimes when God gives us a task, we respond " am I supposed to do this?"
Well, remember that God will never give you a task that he won't help you accomplish.

Did Moses lead the Israelites from Egypt and into the promised land on his own? No. God helped Moses accomplish the task he gave him.

Did Abraham leave his home and establish a new nation on his own? No, God guided and instructed him every step of his journey.

Did David preserve Jesus' family line and uphold a kingdom by himself? No, God put things in motion all around David, giving him the perfect setting for his prosperous reign.

Did the Disciples spread the gospel on their own? Did Israel go from tribes to a kingdom on it's own? Did Jesus raise the dead on his own? No. God was involved. And it's the same way with us.

We are never alone in this. God is always present and is constantly working around, and through us. But just like with Elisha's servant, (in 2 Kings 6:15-17 NIV) we sometimes need God to open our eyes to what he's doing.

Have a great day and God bless!! :D
