Be humble. It could save your life.

Sorry for my spelling. xP But I was really excited while reading/writing this down.
The definition of conceited.

1. having an excessively favorable opinion of one's abilities, appearance, etc.
2. Archaic .

a. having an opinion.
b. fanciful; whimsical.
3. Obsolete . intelligent; clever.
1.  vain, proud, egotistical, self-important, self-satisfied.

We need to be HUMBLE. How are we going to save others, if we can't save ourselves from the trap of pride? We all know of a certain angel who got his butt kicked out of heaven, and is now forever separated from God, because he thought he was all that. Well, if you are also prideful, what is stopping you from being separated from God?

Proverbs 29:23

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
 23 A man’s pride brings him low,
but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.

You have to know your place.
Yes, confidence is GREAT! God doesn't want us moping around about how horrible we are, we wants us to be confident! But not overconfident. Once you get overconfident, you trust in yourself too much. Then you think that you can do anything you want. You don't think you need God anymore. And once you believe that, then is when you fall. And you'll fall hard.

When we take so much pride in ourselves, we think we're better than everyone else. That we're too GOOD, to share the gospel to that homeless guy down the street, or that that emo kid at school isn't good enough to know about Jesus. But what did JESUS SAY ABOUT THAT?

Matthew 9:10-13

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and “sinners” came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?”
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

"I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." That's what Jesus said. And if Jesus, the person all of Christianity is based on, the Son of God in the flesh, our Savior, our healer, and our protector said that, shouldn't we do the same?!

Your pride in yourself could be the thing that stands in between the person you are trying to witness to, and Jesus. Don't let that happen. Humble yourself, and let them know that all Christians are not hypocrites, and that you don't need to be a super special person for Jesus to accept you.
All you need..
is faith.

God bless you guys and have a great day!!! :]

Romans 12:16

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[a] Do not be conceited.

25 “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
and he will stand upon the earth at last.

Identity. Is yours in Christ..?

If you took Christ out of your life, what would be left? Seriously. Think about how your life would be like without Jesus. Noticeable difference? There should be. It should shake your world to think of a life without Jesus. If your life doesn't change much without him in your life...how can you say you have a relationship with God? Everything you are is because of God. The least you can do is to make your living centered around his Son, and make Jesus Christ your identity. How?

Luke 10:27

New International Version (NIV)
27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]”

1.a) Love God with everything you are.
You have to love God with your everything if you're going to have your identity found in Jesus. Why? Because its going to take heart. It's not going to be easy to push back what you want to do, for what God wants you to do.

But why will you do it?
Because you LOVE God.
You LOVE Jesus.
It's that love for God that will push you to make the changes in your life to live Jesus-centered. If you don't love God...that's going to be extremely hard.
Keep in mind though that its not all you, its also the Holy Spirit that helps you achieve it. But it starts with you, and your decision.

Hebrews 12:2-3

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

1.b) Fix your eyes on Jesus.
Jesus should be the motivation for every action you make. He should be the motivation for every word you speak, and every thought you think. There is no excuse for that. (don't take it too hard, I'm talking to myself too, not just you :]) Everything that you will ever do should have Jesus behind it.
Whyyyyyyy? So you won't lose your direction, so you won't grow weary, and so you won't lose your heart. If your eyes aren't focused on Jesus, who are they focused on? Just something to think on. If you want to have your identity found in Christ, you need to be sold out to him.

And when you do finally give yourself up go Jesus, you'll find its a lot better than anything else you've ever tried. :D

And finally I'm gonna end it off with a song.(whoooo! xD) It's Identity by Lecrae. If you don't have time to listen to the song, at least read the lyrics!
[Verse 1, Lecrae]
Hair check, shoes check,
brand new fit looking cool check,
looking in mirror like "ooooh yes!"
cover for an insecure dude check, She wont' feel me and they wont like me if I ain't in them J's or them brand new Nikes, lets dig deeper inside my pysche
when it's all said and done even I don't like me
He live in the gym and his hair stay faded
late model car so they think he made it
he's Christian he gave his life
but he still ain't satisfied in the savior Christ
still finds his identity in looks and cars
if he only knew that he ain't have to look so hard
If looked in God it may seem odd he be so satisfied he could leave it all.

[ Chorus ]
I'm not the shoes I wear, I'm not the clothes I buy
I'm am not the house I live in, I'm not the car I drive
I'm not the job I work, You can't define my worth
By nothing on God's green earth, my identity is found in Christ.

[ Verse 2, D.A. T.R.U.T.H. ]
How do I gauge success,Why do I say I'm blessed,
Huh,Is it the car that I drive or the place that I rest or the way that I dress,
now Is the cause of my pride,
the stage and the set or my face in the press,
now Cause the applause it dies
When the praise is less if my face is depressed,
then/It's cause my value and worth is in the volume of the work I produce in the booth
It's a prize and a curse if defined by the perks when the truth is through
Man I'm goin' feel like I don't want to live no more, no more, no more
Cause they don't like me like they did in 04,04,04
So, I swallow my pride empowered by God,
I'm complete in Him
He's got peace God's priest I'm in In
His presence weak-His strength
Meet His kin We His brethren Read this list
Me forgiven
He's dismissed guilt and my sin and
I find my worth cause I'm Jesus' friend

[ Chorus ]
I'm not the shoes I wear, I'm not the clothes I buy
I'm am not the house I live in, I'm not the car I drive
I'm not the job I work, You can't define my worth
By nothing on God's green earth, my identity is found in Christ.

[ Verse 3, Lecrae ]
Got her hair done, toes and nails
is that Her? well it's hard to tell
cause she's so caked up in so much make up
It's like she's tryna make up for what she ain't
but she's a saint but so confused
cause she's been rejected by all these dudes
they tell her on a scale of 10 she's a two
but that ain't true if she only knew
In Christ she is loved she secure and accepted
never be rejected by God who's elected her
Her beauty is her Godliness
And she ain't gotta flaunt it cause it's obvious
[ Identity is found in the God we trust
Any other identity will self destruct.x2 ]

[ Chorus ]
I'm not the shoes I wear, I'm not the clothes I buy
I'm am not the house I live in, I'm not the car I drive
I'm not the job I work, You can't define my worth
By nothing on God's green earth, my identity is found in Christ.

God bless you guys and have a great day!!

Despite everyone else, we will serve the Lord! (Joshua 24:15)

Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a great day so far.
Today I want to share with you guys one of my favorite bible verses.

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15 ESV)

I love this. Especially in times like now. For me it says, whatever is happening around me, however crazy people get, no matter how many people go atheist or turn to other gods, I will continue to serve the LORD. The only true and living God. The God that kept his promise to Abraham, Issac and Jacob, and the God that pursues a real and true relationship with each and every one of you.
People can do what they want, and we can't really stop that. But we can control what WE do, and that should be serving our God, no matter what.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:5, 6 ESV)

God bless you guys and have a great day! :D

I'm not religious, I'm a follower of Christ

[ri-lij-uh s]

- adjective
1. of, pertaining to, or concerned with religion: a religious holiday.
2. imbued with or exhibiting religion; pious; devout; godly: a religious man.
3. scrupulously faithful; conscientious: religious care.
4. pertaining to or connected with a monastic or religious order.
5. appropriate to religion or to sacred rites or observances.
- noun
6. a member of a religious order, congregation, etc.; a monk, friar, or nun.
7. the religious, devout or religious persons: Each year, thousands of the religious make pilgrimages to the shrine.

- noun
1. a person or thing that follows.
2. a person who follows another in regard to his or her ideas or belief; disciple or adherent.
3. a person who imitates, copies, or takes as a model or ideal: He was little more than a follower of current modes.
4. an attendant, servant, or retainer.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to be called religious. I don't want people to think being a Christian is just going to church on Sunday and getting drunk of Monday.
I don't want people to think that all Christianity is just a bunch of hypocrites gathering in a building and tearing other people down.
I wanna make a change, and we can start it. Not by going through the motions and calling ourselves religious, but by becoming true FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST, and show the world what being a Christian really means.

Christ set us free from the law of sin and death! (Romans 8:2) So let's not trap ourselves in Manmade laws, rules, and rituals on how to be a true "christian", or religious person. Thats not what Jesus said.
Have a great day and God bless you guys!! :D

By Faith you can do all things. (Hebrews 11: 20-40)

Hey guys :]
Its thursday...or thorsday..or the day before friday, whatever you call it xD
Lets-a-go! xP

Hebrews 11:20-40

New International Version (NIV)
20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.
22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.
23 By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.
24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.
29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.
31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.[a]
32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning;[b] they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

So yeah. Our faith in Jesus can bring hurt, pain, loss, and even death. That's just the price of following Christ. (John 15:20)
But look at all the amazing things faith can also do! And plus, what's pain and loss compared to knowing your pleasing and will be rewarded by God? (Hebrews 11:6: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.)
If the God that created the universe is on your side, NOTHING can stop you from doing what God has planned. NOTHING. You just have to have FAITH. Look at all the things faith has done^! And you can do that too.
Even if you have the faith of a mustard seed.

Matthew 17:20

New International Version (NIV)
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

I really hope this blesses you guys :D Continue to have faith in our Awesome God! Faith is the key to allowing Him to work in your life. :] God bless!!

By Faith is how you can change the world. Hebrews 11:7-19 (Part 2)

Good morning! Happy wednesday xD aanyway, here we go.

Hebrews 11:7-19

Today's New International Version (TNIV)
7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. 11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she[a] considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.
13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18 even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”[b] 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

Faith. Believing in things not seen, and believing God even if what he says seems crazy. I mean seriously, the only thing God said to Abraham was "Leave your country, your people, and your father's household and go to the land I will show you." There was no detailed map that highlighted every step of the way. xD Abraham didn't even know where he was going! But he trusted God. By faith, he, Sarai and Lot followed anyway.
Later, he continued that faith. Abraham offered his only son as a sacrifice,(sound familiar?)and through faith, knew that somehow, some way, God would save Issac. Sarai considered God faithful, and because of that, she was able to have a child at almost 100 years old.

Noah was called build an ark for a giant flood. Back then, it had never rained before, so they didn't know what rain was.(Genesis 2: 5-6)
So to Noah, God was asking him to build some weird, massive "ark" object for him, and his family and for every animal species at that time, because water was going to fall out of the sky and kill everybody.
See how crazy that sounds? But what did Noah do? He listened. He acted on faith. And by acting on that faith, he saved himself, saved his family, and set up the first foundation for Jesus' coming.

I mean, without the faith of Abraham and Noah, we wouldn't even be here right now. That's how tremendous their impact was. I doubt they realized how important their faith was though. They may have just believed that they were simply doing God's will. And it could be the same for you. You never know what God has in store. So keep acting on your faith in God, and do what he says. You never know who's life you'll change by taking that leap of faith. Just make sure you're in God's will.
Have a great day everyone and God bless! :D

By Faith is how you please God

Howdy y'all! xD For the next few days we're going to be on Hebrews 11. It's a pretty awesome chapter :D anyway here we go.

Hebrews 11

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)

By Faith

1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
4 By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.
5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Abel was faithful to God, giving him the best of what he had. Because of his faith in God, and faithfulness to God, he still speaks today.
Enoch pleased God with his faith also. He so pleased with Enoch's faith, that He took him away.

So remember, keep your faith strong. If others hate you for it, sucks for them. They don't know what they're missing. The important thing is that you're pleasing God. And he will reward you for it.
God bless and have a great day!! :D

Tempation and suffering. Why?

Hey everyone! Happy Friday the 13th!! xD aaaaaanyway, here's where we'll be focusing on. ->

Matthew 4

The Temptation of Jesus (ESV translation)
1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But he answered, “It is written,
“‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple 6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,’
“‘On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written,
“‘You shall worship the Lord your God
and him only shall you serve.’”
11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.

Okay. Jesus was tempted and he suffered also (not eating for 40 days and nights), so what? Well look around the book of Matthew. Jesus didn't start his ministry at all until after this happened. Directly after the temptation is when he first preached to a public crowd. Shortly after, he called the first disciples and his ministry spread like wildfire.
So what does this have to do with you?
Well maybe that suffering or tempation you're going through is preparation for when He decides to use you. That suffering or temptation could help you relate to the person God wants you to reach. Being able to relate to them could open a window, a window that may even lead to accepting Jesus.
It might not always work out like that, that's just what I think.
You also may be wondering why there is suffering in the first place. Well I can't really answer that for you. All I know is that we live in an imperfect world, and that imperfection means that there is pain and suffering.
But you can be sure of this: whatever type of pain, suffering, weakness or temptation you're fighting through, God is going to use it as an opportunity to accomplish something amazing, something that only God can do.
So don't be so focused on how bad your situation is that you forget about God. He is there, will always be there, and is always at work around you.
God bless you guys and have a great weekend! :D

Read your bible, and build yourself up!

Hey people! I've got something I wanna share with you.

Jude 1:17-23

New International Version (NIV)

A Call to Persevere
17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
22 Be merciful to those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.[a]

So yeah, they're going to be people that are going to divide us as Christians. But keep yourself in God's love! Read your bible! Build yourself up, so you know which way to go when these people come.
Remember that guy who said Jesus was coming back in October or September 2011? He divided Christians. Many believed him, and many did not. I didn't. Why?

Matthew 24:36

New International Version (NIV)
The Day and Hour Unknown
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father.
Along with that^, and the fact that its 2012, I'm guessing that the dude was wrong.
So I encourage you guys, read your bible! Get to know God and know Jesus :D God isn't going to force it upon you, you have to choose for yourself to read the Word! And when you do, keep that Word inside your heart. Store it away somewhere deep, or write it down. So when the false prophets come, you will know the Truth! And the it's the Truth that will set you free!!

 John 8:31-32

New International Version (NIV)
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free
Yeah so that's about it. God bless and have a great day :D

God will fight for you.

Hey guys xD today is Jeremiah 1. one of my favorite chapters and i think you guys will like it too

Remember, God isn't talking only to Jeremiah, but also directly to you. NIV translation

Jeremiah 1

1 The words of Jeremiah son of Hilkiah, one of the priests at Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin. 2 The word of the LORD came to him in the thirteenth year of the reign of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah, 3 and through the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, down to the fifth month of the eleventh year of Zedekiah son of Josiah king of Judah, when the people of Jerusalem went into exile.
The Call of Jeremiah
4 The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you,
   before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
6 “Alas, Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”
7 But the LORD said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD.
9 Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
11 The word of the LORD came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”
“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.
12 The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching[b] to see that my word is fulfilled.”
13 The word of the LORD came to me again: “What do you see?”
“I see a pot that is boiling,” I answered. “It is tilting toward us from the north.”
14 The LORD said to me, “From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land. 15 I am about to summon all the peoples of the northern kingdoms,” declares the LORD.
“Their kings will come and set up their thrones
   in the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem;
they will come against all her surrounding walls
and against all the towns of Judah.
16 I will pronounce my judgments on my people
because of their wickedness in forsaking me,
in burning incense to other gods
and in worshiping what their hands have made.
17 “Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. 18 Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. 19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD.

Well that's it. Pretty powerful, self explanatory. Act on God's call for you to act! Follow his commands and do what he says. Even if it seems like everyone is against you, if you're following His will, they will fail, because God will be with you, and he will protect you. God bless you guys and have a great day :D

The real Jesus Christ. (Revelation 19:11-16)

Alright, so I was reading the bible on my iPod, just skimming through revelation. Then I came upon this:

    Revelation 19:11-16 (NIV)
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. [12] His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. [13] He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. [14] The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. [15] Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. [16] On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.

The rider on the horse is Jesus. How the heck do I know that? If you look in the old testament I believe, it will sometimes refer to him as king of kings and lord of lords, and that he will rule the nations with an iron scepter. He is also the word of God as it says in John 1.

     John 1:1-2,14 (NIV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was with God in the beginning. [14] The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.  (I really really really really really recommend you guys read John 1 btw. Awesome stuff)

So yes, the rider of the horse is Jesus Christ. He is our Savior and our Guardian. All that you read up there^ is the Lord that is right behind you in every step you take in the path He made for you. All that power, grace, and majesty is right behind you as you go out into the world and testify for Jesus. You will never be alone, because he will never leave you. He didn't forsake you when he was nailed on the cross and he won't forsake you now. So keep that in mind whenever you're feeling down and even bookmark the verse so you can be reminded of the awesome power that's backing you up! God bless you guys! Have a great day! :D
